On behalf of Farnham Sports Council I would like to congratulate Farnham Town Football Club on their quite incredible achievement.

For those who don’t follow the local sports scene, the Farnham Town men’s team have won all 24 of their matches this season, breaking the English record for the most successive wins from the start of the season and making it a Guinness Book of Records entry.

And they are still ‘not out’ so let’s wish them well in the coming matches and hope the winning run can continue.

Well done to all the players and coaches concerned, and to the club management and the volunteers who make things possible behind the scenes. Amazing!
