THE night sky above Petersfield was lit up in glorious technicolour over three successive nights last weekend.
Heavy rain failed to dampen the spirits of thrillseekers in Buriton who kicked off the annual bonfire and fireworks celebrations on Friday night.
Twenty-four hours later, the fizzing and banging moved to Bell Hill for the town’s annual extravaganza run by the Round Table.
And a display and bonfire at the Millennium Field in Sheet rounded off the action on Sunday afternoon, having been put back 24 hours because of an horrendous weather forecast.
