New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Waverley’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Browns Surrey Gin & Tea Bar, at 159 High Street, Cranleigh, Surrey was handed a two-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 7.

And Shinsen ii LTD, at Bear And Ragged Staff, 48 The Street, Wrecclesham, Farnham was also given a score of two on November 7.

It means that of Waverley's 211 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 134 (64%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
