‘NATURALLY fast food’ brand LEON has announced it is opening a new site at the A331 Blackwater Valley service station in Tongham this Friday (February 25).
To celebrate, LEON will be offering free coffees to the first 100 customers through the door on opening morning.
The Tongham site is located within an EG-owned Shell petrol forecourt and will be a counter-style take-away restaurant.
The new Tongham opening represents the third counter-style opening for LEON following Holtspur, Beaconsfield and the Milton Keynes sites, all opening in 2021.
The Tongham site will feature counter ordering as well as digital kiosks order screens, and has generated 10 job vacancies.
Guests can now also pre-order to collect via LEON’s new app which launched in February.
Glenn Edwards, LEON managing director, said: “Since opening our first counter-style restaurants in 2021, we have been eager to grow this style of restaurant in order to bring LEON to more guests and allow them to experience LEON while on the go – something that aligns with our mission to bring naturally fast food that tastes good, does you good and is kind to the planet.
“Our opening in Tongham is a massive achievement on this front.”
Guests will find all the usual LEON favourites such as ‘carbon neutral burgers’, grilled wraps, breakfasts and all-day options, as well as new additions to the menu, including the ‘vegan everyday dahl’ and ‘jerk n’ jam chicken wrap’.
The Tongham location will also see the launch of new LEON Rice Pots including Brazilian black beans and barbecue chicken.
It will open 7am-9pm Monday to Sunday.
