THE National Trust has been accused of riding roughshod over local residents after allowing a $100m Hollywood blockbuster to begin filming at Frensham Little Pond this week.
Snow White and the Huntsmen, a twist on the traditional fairytale starring Twilight actress Kristen Stewart and funded by Universal Studios, began shooting in Frensham on Wednesday.
A set has been constructed on the banks of the pond, complete with timber huts, and a cast boasting Charlize Theron, Eddie Izzard, Bob Hoskins, Ray Winstone and Nick Frost are permitted to film there until December 31.
But neighbouring residents are less than impressed.
