It’s all change at a former bank in Farnham as a Grade II-listed landmark is being converted into a pub.

Youngs & Co are finalising work to convert the former Lloyds branch on Castle Street with the Teller Arms due to open later this month.

The financial institution ended more than a century of banking in the town centre last October when it closed the doors to the branch.

The development will include nine bedrooms and a roof pergola on the external terrace according to the firm’s design and access statement.

Its arrival will increase the number of pubs in the area to six with the Teller Arms complimenting the Nelson Arms and Castle on Castle Street and the Queen’s Head, Hop Blossom and Borough Beer House nearby.

For those in Farnham looking for new employment, the new pub is already searching for staff in multiple roles including porters, chefs and management.
