Farnham's new six-screen REEL Cinema will open its doors at 8 Old Market Place in the Brightwells Yard development on Friday, February 2 – promising to be “at the REEL heart of the community”.
Its star attraction will be the exclusive REEL Lounge, featuring plush sofas and armchairs, and the option to pre-order food and drink to be served directly to your seat.
The cinema will show a wide breadth of titles, from the latest studio blockbusters and independent films, to a range of event cinema releases, including opera, ballet and stage musicals.
REEL will adjust its listings to the tastes of cinema-goers, with the potential for arthouse and foreign cinema too.
Its menu offers more than just the usual cinema fare, with artisanal pizzas, loaded fries, and gourmet hot dogs joining timeless favourites like freshly popped popcorn and nachos.
A bar will sell a hand-picked selection of local beers, fine wines, and cocktails.
REEL has described its new cinema as a “central community hub”, and is actively forging connections with local charities, organisations, schools, businesses and the University for the Creative Arts.
‘Movie Madness’ tickets are priced at just £3.99 before 1pm, after which adult tickets cost £8.99 and children £6.99. REEL Lounge tickets are priced at £11.99 and alternative content events at £15.
Tickets are now on sale from the REEL Farnham website for the opening week of releases, including Migration (PG), Argylle (12A), Mean Girls (12A), Poor Things (18), One Life (12A), and Wonka (PG).
“We are delighted to open REEL Cinema Farnham at Brightwells Yard,” said Sunil Suri from REEL Cinemas.
“With our eclectic mix of eateries, extensive garden, public artwork, and striking architecture, our latest cinema will be at the heart of the community and a real asset for Farnham town centre.”
