The District Day had the theme of the five senses, with activities ranging from cooking over open fires to learning braille, planting herbs, making musical instruments and slime.
The 80 girls that attended came from Weybourne & Hale Rainbows, 1st Farnham Brownies, 4th Hale Brownies, 1st Weybourne Brownies, 1st Farnham Guides and Farnham Rangers, and each was awarded a badge to mark the day.
Great fun was had by all, despite the inclement weather, and the day concluded with Hale District Commissioner Debbie Muchmore thanking all the volunteers that helped organise and run the day.
