St Peter’s Church is holding a volunteering open morning on Monday from 10am to midday, when everyone can have a go at activities such as bell ringing, candle making and flower arranging, and find out more about the ways people can get involved at the church – whether that is through helping with social events or baking for the weekly community café Refresh, which will be serving coffee and cake and sharing some of its best recipes in its new cookbook.
