RESIDENTS are being urged to attend a public interest meeting with the police.
Hosted by Whitehill Town Council at the Forest Community Centre at 7pm, the theme of the meeting is Making our community safer.
Councillor Andy Tree, town council leader, said the purpose of the meeting was to allow councillors and residents to engage with the police at a local operational level and strategy level.
He added: “The meeting gives people the chance to hear what the police are doing and voice any legitimate concerns.”
