MEMBERS of the Inner Wheel Club of Farnham recently visited the Ridgeway Community School to present a cheque for £1,500.

The money was raised as a result of a bridge lunch and a ladies lunch with entertainment by Margaret Watson, a well known harpist.

The Ridgeway School is a school for children with special needs between the ages of two and 19. The money raised by Inner Wheel will go towards play equipment in the new nursery centre, opening shortly.

Headmaster Daryl Morgan, explained how the school operates and showed the Inner Wheel ladies around, after which club president Lynda Godfrey handed over the cheque to some of the children.
