The gates of three East Hampshire gardens are being opened to the public in aid of charity.
If you’re looking for horticultural inspiration or a blooming good day out then head to Wheatley House this weekend.
The GU35 9PA property between Binsted and Kingsley will open as part of the National Garden Scheme in aid of Marie Curie Cancer care and MacMillan Nurses.
Visitors can expect “colourful and sweeping borders with interesting and unusual plant combinators” in a garden with sweeping panoramic views, mosaics and stone sculptures.
There will also be local crafts and honey in the barn, a plant sale and homemade teas with proceeds going to Binsted Church.
The garden will be open from 1.30pm to 5pm on both days with entry £6 for adults and children getting in free.
The Thatched Cottage in Upper Farringdon and Blounce House, South Warnborough, will open the following weekend and September 1, respectively, in aid of Cardiac Rehab. The gardens will open from 2pm and 5pm, for more details visit cardiac-rehab.co.uk/events
