NANDO’S is strongly rumoured to be opening its first Farnham restaurant at Brightwells Yard next year.

Herald Bricks & Mortar Reporter, David Howell, has heard from multiple sources that Crest Nicholson is finalising a contract with the popular multinational chain.

Nando’s specialises in Portuguese flame-grilled peri-peri style chicken. It was founded in 1987 in Johannesburg, South Africa, and now has more than 900 restaurants globally, 462 of which are in the UK.

Restaurants Coppa Club and Heaven’s Kitchen steakhouse are already confirmed to be taking units at Brightwells, with more to follow in coming months.
