Bramshott & Liphook vicar Val Inglis-Jones loves meeting people. You may have met him in the past – and may even remember the week in 2020 which he spent in the Square connecting with all comers.
Well, he’s doing it again. Starting on Father’s Day, this Sunday, he’ll be out in the Square until Thursday, June 22, for chats about life, the universe and everything with someone who loves to listen.
It’s also a great chance to receive a blessing for any issues, problems or concerns big or small that we all face as part of that rich and at times painful journey we call life.
Val said: “I’ve had some amazing conversations over the years. I met a guy the other day who had just lost his brother and was able to give him a hug. I met some bikers outside the pub with these huge Honda Fireblades from the 90s – these bikes go at 180mph and have no ABS so they were really pleased when I blessed their bikes and prayed for their safety!
“It’s going to be an exciting week and at the end of it, starting on June 23-25, we have an internationally-renowned speaker coming to lead a weekend dedicated to healing and wholeness at our beloved St Mary’s – look on the website (www.liphookchurch.co.uk) if you’re interested.”
