POLICE would like to speak to a man, whose image was captured on CCTV, after items were stolen from a car parked outside Alton.

The incident happened at some time between 2.30pm and 3.40pm on August 30 while the vehicle was parked in Home Farm South car park at Burkham Woods.

Located close to the village of Bentworth, north-west of Alton, the car park belongs to the Woodland Trust.

One of the windows of the car was smashed during the raid and a number of items were stolen, including a rucksack, a handbag, a wallet and cash.
