A PUBLIC meeting has been called on how the proposed merger of the Royal Surrey County Hospital (RSCH) with St Peter's and Ashford hospitals will affect residents and its knock-on effect for plans to expand Haslemere Hospital.

Former Haslemere League of Friends (LoF) chairman Professor Vincent Marks, who is a Waverley governor for RSCH Foundation Trust, is staging the meeting at Haslemere Hall next month, when Dr Andy Carne, RSCH Foundation Trust deputy medical director, will give a presentation.
