A MEMORIAL service for former Herald chief executive Dennis Stone will be held at St Andrew’s Parish Church, Farnham on Thursday, March 16.

All are welcome to attend the service, at 4pm, but the family have requested no flowers be left at the church. Instead, donations can be made in Mr Stone’s memory to either Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice or Macmillan Cancer Support.

Mr Stone, who devoted more than half a century of his life to The Herald, died aged 90 on February 17.
