VISITORS to Frensham Little Pond may have noticed a Celtic village taking shape at the National Trust beauty spot.

Several straw huts have been constructed on the banks of the pond as part of the film set for Cursed, an upcoming Netflix TV show set to air later this year.

The show is set to star Katherine Langford, who also played Hannah in the Netflix TV series 13 Reasons Why, as well as Lily Newmark, Gustaf Skarsgard, Daniel Shorman and Peter Mullan.

The story follows a young teenage girl who teams up with Arthur to find Merlin and present him with an old ancient sword. It is based on the graphic novel by Frank Miller (of The Dark Knight Returns, Sin City and 300 fame) and Tom Wheeler.

Filming of the latest film in Colin Firth’s Kingsman series is also under way at nearby Hankley Common.
