Well-wishers have raised a glass to a Farnham pub company and their business buddies as they set off on an epic trek from the capital to the coast.
A group from New Dawn Pubs will head to London this Thursday, September 12, to begin a three-day walk from Westminster Bridge to Brighton Pier in aid of two charities close to their heart.
The fundraisers will attempt the 65-mile challenge alongside business friends from InstaGroup Ltd, 1st Call Trees of Farnham and Tilford’s The Barley Mow pub on the annual challenge.
They’re on a mission to turn footprints into pounds as they want to raise £25,000 for Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care and Abby’s Heroes Children’s Cancer Charity.
“We’re incredibly excited to take on this challenge,” said Mark Robson, managing director at New Dawn Pubs.
"Both Phyllis Tuckwell and Abby's Heroes do invaluable work in our communities, and we're committed to making a real difference for those they serve. Every donation, big or small, will directly benefit these amazing charities.”
The team is calling on the local community to join their efforts by following their progress and making donations via their London-Brighton Charity Walk page at https://shorturl.at/E4DMN
All costs associated with the walk are being covered by the participating companies, so every penny raised by the fundraisers will go directly to the good causes, maximising the impact of their incredible journey.
