A directory of health and well-being services in Farnham is now live having after being launched to great acclaim.
Jessica Faircloth created the Farnham Wellbeing Directory website as she felt there was no central space to advertise the great local services in town.
She said: “The idea to create the website came from a couple of things, as firstly I realised that there is so much incredible talent in the health and wellbeing industry in Farnham.
“This is especially true among friends who have small businesses which I felt were hard to discover unless you knew about them, so I wanted to give them more exposure.
“I knew people living in Farnham would want their services, it's just they couldn't find them.
“Secondly, I've always worried about men's mental health and the fact they men are less likely to find the help or support that they need.
“So I wanted to create a place where they could find what they needed more easily, without scrolling Google and you can see more easily in the directory what your options are.
“With suicide rates being highest among young men, I hoped that this site might be a good resource for them to come to first, as it just makes it easier to find the help that they need. “
Jessica is looking for businesses to advertise in the directory to improve its long-term sustainability.
