Phyllis Tuckwell will celebrate Father’s Day with their “Walk for the Wards” and “Run for the Wards” on Sunday, 16 June at Hampton Estate.
Participants can register for two routes a five or ten-mile route both of which will take them through beautiful countryside across the 2,000-acre Hampton Estate that includes all kinds of rural landscapes including parklands, meadows, grassland, heathland, chalk downland and woodlands. The estate has also opened some of its private gardens offering an opportunity to explore parts of the local are which would not otherwise be able to access.
Ruth Masters, the head of fundraising at Phyllis Tuckwell said: “We would like to say a big thank you to Bill & Bridget Biddell for inviting us back to hold these events again on the Hampton Estate, and also to Clifton Ingram solicitors who are kindly sponsoring these events.”
Early Bird Tickets are £10 for adults and £4 for children for the walk. Tickets are £10 for runners who are fundraising and £20 for those who just want to run for fun. All money raised for the event will go to Phyllis Tuckwell.
