HASLEMERE Town Council has recommended Waverley planners reject an application to amend the outline planning consent for 135 houses at Sturt Farm to align with the alternative access road proposed.
The town council has already objected to an application that has not yet been determined to re-route the agreed access to the housing development.
Members agreed to object to the latest application, specifically to the proposed revised access, on the grounds the proposed revised access would impact on heritage buildings.
Concerned works had commenced prior to consent being granted, councillor Jim Edwards was asked to pursue the issue with planning enforcement officers.
He reported they had visited the site and asked Waverley enforcement officers to investigate and report.
