An Essex man charged in connection with a midnight altercation at a restaurant in Farnham has been given a new court date.

Omer Saygili was charged with GBH wounding with intent, violent disorder and possession of a Class B drug following a late-night incident at a restaurant on Lion & Lamb Yard on July 18.

The 34-year-old from Grays was due to plea on Thursday, August 29, but an application to delay until September 19 was agreed by a judge at Guildford Crown Court sitting at Guildford Magistrates.
