BINSTED Growmore Club’s annual ploughing match and produce show was held at Hyde Farm, Long Sutton, on October 2, by kind permission of Lord Wandsworth College.

Champion Ploughman this year was P White by a whisker from R Oliver, while the Marshall Cup for Best Ploughman under the age of 26 when to S Bicknell. The prize for gaining most points in the produce classes went to Stern Farm, and for the domestic competition to Pat Seale.

The judging was carried out by members of Winchester Growmore Club.
