The Labour candidate for Farnham & Bordon has dismissed a website’s suggestion that a split vote could hand victory to his Conservative counterpart.
Data on www.getvoting.org suggests that a split vote between Alex Just and his Liberal Democrat adversary Khalil Yousuf may could play into the hands of Greg Stafford.
Data from the website - which aims to help those who will be looking to tactically vote in this election - has indicated that the Liberal Democrats have the best chance of defeating the Conservatives in the constituency’s inaugural contest.
But Mr Just argued: “You can't rely on these 'polls' as people in Farnham & Bordon aren’t being surveyed..
“As a new constituency, the population data being fed into MRP algorithms isn’t very reliable.
“Labour has had the most volunteers on the street and voters tell us they want real change and a candidate who lives here!”
