A POPULAR children's television presenter was the star of the show at Hollycombe Steam near Liphook on Saturday.

Famous for programmes such as Playdays, Fun Song Factory and Playhouse Disney, Dave Benson Phillips brought along his own brand of fun and music which children could sing along to.

The family day out also featured Tricky Nicky's magic shows, balloon modelling, a bouncy castle and face painting.

Saturday also saw the start of the magical Fairground at Night evenings, which highlights the sights and sounds of Hollycombe Steam at night.

As darkness falls, the big wheel and all other attractions become new fairground experiences.

These special evenings continue every Saturday from 7pm to 10pm until October.
