A canine charity has taken paws to thank the public for their generosity following a recent collection for Guide Dogs for the Blind in Farnham.

Volunteers, puppies and adult dogs took part with an amazing £701.62 being donated.

A spokesperson for the good cause said: “Our volunteer collectors, some with puppies in training and with guide dogs worked happily on a lovely summer’s day to help raise funds for our worthy cause.

“Thank you to all of you too, and to Starbucks who provided us with coffee to keep us going!

“Guide dogs are dedicated to supporting children and adults with sight loss through education and technology, and our trained special guide dogs enable people to go out into the community with confidence and safety.

“Therefore every penny raised will mean more dogs can be trained and more people helped. So a big thank you to all who helped make this possible in Farnham.”
