BRAINY Grayshott Primary School leavers celebrated SATs results well above the national average before they left at the end of the summer term.

Not only did 90 per cent achieve the expected standard in the maths, reading and grammar, spelling and punctuation tests, and impressive 60 per cent of those students gained the higher standard in reading.

In addition to their academic prowess, pupils also learned how to become successful entrepreneurs at their ‘Biz School’ event, and also took centre stage in the school production of ’Oh What A Knight’ at Grayshott Village Hall.

Headteacher Sharon Pritchard, told The Herald: “The whole school is very proud of what the year six pupils achieved last year.

“Not only were they a hard-working, conscientious group of children, they have left Grayshott CofE Primary School with a sound understanding of the values that will help prepare them for the next stage of their lives.”
