HOGWARTS Sorting Hat made sure pupils of Highfield South Farnham School were in the right houses for a Quidditch game in the playground on World Book Day last Thursday.
Pupils arrived dressed as their favourite characters and then spent time exploring and discussing the stories. Year 6 children also introduced younger children to new books and authors by reading to them.
As well as enjoying a bit of Quidditch in the afternoon, children in reception classes created Gruffalo pie and scrambled snake, and tucked into a special menu, including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’s Famous Chocolate Sponge and Horrid Henry’s Herby Diced Potatoes.
