After 30 years of managing Hampshire’s largest country park, Tim Speller will say goodbye.
Before taking the lead at Queen Elizabeth Country Park (QECP) in 1995, Tim looked after Staunton Country Park for eight years and grew up wanting to work in the ‘great outdoors’.
When he first joined, the visitor centre closed weekdays from November to March and now it only closes two days a year!
Tim said: “QECP is in good hands as it heads for its 50th anniversary in 2026, with an amazing team of staff, friends and volunteers dedicated to its care. I am look forward to enjoying all the park has to offer but as a visitor."
Drop by the cafe on January 28 at 12.30pm to say farewell to Tim.
