A resident in Farnham was brought to tears after a random act of kindness made her day.
As she did her shopping, which it happened she was purchasing the Farnham Herald she came across a lady carrying sunflowers.
The resident stopped the lady at the checkout, and said: “They are such cheerful and lovely flowers aren’t they.”
Thinking not much off of it she walked off carrying her shopping and continued her day. Until the lovely lady tapped her on the shoulder and handed her one of the bunches of flowers.
The thoughtful gesture brought tears to the resident’s eyes, she was very emotional as she had been struggling with her recent diagnosis of Alzheimer’s.
The lovely lady said: “I was hoping to give someone the flowers too and there you were.”
The kind but simple gesture had a real positive impact on the resident and made her day.
