Drivers in and around Waverley will have seven National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a holdup of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• A3, from 9pm June 7 to 6am September 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for electrical work.
And a further six closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A3, from 8pm June 11 to 6am June 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Thursley, Lane closures for drainage work.
• M3, from 9pm June 15 to 6am June 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 northbound, junction 5, slip road and hard shoulder closure for maintenance work.
• A3, from 8pm June 17 to 6am June 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Thursley, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways network.
• A3, from 8pm June 18 to 6am June 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Eashing to Milford, Lane closure for survey work.
• A3, from 8pm June 19 to 6am June 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Milford, slip road and lane closures for drainage work.
• A3, from 8pm June 20 to 6am June 21, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 southbound, Milford, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways and local authority network.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
