The 57-year-old from Bordon said: “It’s brilliant. I didn’t think I was going to get quite as emotional as I did, because I’m not a royalist, but this is special.
“She is all we’ve known and we know she’s gone, but it’s all a bit surreal. It’s all so perfect and fantastic. I cried when I heard she had died and I cried at this. It’s really sad.
“We’ll never see it again, which is another reason why I wanted to see it. It’s like a film, like a fairytale you read in a book. I hope it will be in the history books.”
