THROUGHOUT the year, each class at Hollycombe Primary School holds an assembly which is attended by parents and family.

The autumn class assembly celebrated topics covered so far, which featured elements of Saxons and Vikings – told through the eyes of a Saxon and Viking travelling on the ’Time Travel Express’.

Work shared by children included newspaper reports, chapters of Beowulf, and elaborate Celtic knots.
