ST LAWRENCE Primary School has hit a snag over a proposal to loan additional churchyard space to use as a safe teaching and play area.

While it is down to Winchester Diocese to agree the request to fence off more of the St Lawrence churchyard for use by the school, the land is maintained by Alton Town Council.
