Following on from the success of last year’s talk from the Selborne Landscape Partnership, the Selborne committee of the National Trust is keeping things local and landscape-focused for its annual lecture.
National Trust ranger Jim Avenell, and new recruit Zoë Cotton, will be presenting an informative ‘Walk through 20 Years of the Local Landscape’ talk at Selborne Village Hall on Saturday, November 11.
Jim, who has worked with the National Trust for 27 years, and Zoë, will present photographs of how Selborne Common and Lythes used to look, and how they have changed, with a nod to how they might continue to develop. As it is an open event, full audience participation will be anticipated and heartily encouraged.
A cash bar will be open from 7pm before a prompt start to the lecture at 7.30pm.
Tickets are available in advance or on the door priced £12 (£10 Friends).
For all enquiries, ticket bookings and any questions that people would like to put to the rangers, email committee member Sarah Lucas at [email protected] or call her on 01420 587351.
