A DRAMATIC bid to save the crumbling home of a theatre group from Sheet has been completed in record time.
The show will definitely go on for the Winton Players after raising £25,000 to repair their barn off London Road.
The group launched the appeal in May last year and finally met their target last month after holding a quiz night at The Half Moon pub.
A board highlighting the success of the appeal and the generosity of supporters was unveiled outside the barn on Monday.
The Winton Players have used "The Hut" for meetings, rehearsals, set production and storage since moving into the barn in 1952.
