BRAMSHOTT and Liphook Parish Council held a prizegiving ceremony for the winners who took part in this year’s village sports day.
Prizes were presented by villlage sprint queen and Paralympic bronze medal winner Olivia Breen.
Parish chairman Jane Ives said: “Thank you to everyone who took part in the second Liphook Sports Day particularly all the children and parents who came along to support the day and the volunteers who helped. A big thank you also goes to Andy Kelsey, Invictus gold medallist, who opened the sports day and Olivia Breen, Paralympian, who performed the prizegiving.
“The parish council has agreed to hold another sports day next summer, the date is still to be confirmed, and we look forward to welcoming some new sports who have already indicated their interest in taking part.
“Congratulations to all the prize winners who each won a Sports Locker voucher.”
Liam Green won the trophy as the overall winner for taking part in 10 sports out of the 13, including the triathlon event that was held the following day. Since taking part in the sports day, Liam has also taken up playing football.
