Farnham was set for a Sunday of art, antiques and crafts but Storm Ashley has forced its cancellation.
According to Met Office predictions, winds could reach speeds of more than 40mph with a day of wet and windy weather forecasted.
So the town council and ACVR events have regretfully pulled the plug on the event due to take place in the central car park.
The strong winds could make it unsafe to proceed not only for the artists and makers but also for members of the general public.
Ashley is the first named storm of the 2024/25 season and some parts of the country have already received amber and yellow weather warnings, although not yet Surrey and Hampshire.
Efforts to re-schedule the event are ongoing.
