PUPILS at Waverley Abbey Junior School put their skills to the test as they competed against one another for top place in this year’s Waverley’s Got Talent competition.
“It was an amazing evening of 40 different talent acts – ranging from comedy duos, dancing and gymnastics, music and singing and a magic act,” said headteacher Kate Redman.
“The pupils were very well rehearsed and the standard of performance was incredibly hard. The score sheets from our panel of judges showed that the judging marks were very close between contestants.”
Overall winner was Poppy, who sang Pie Jesu – she will go on to represent Waverley Abbey at the Farnham Schools Talent Contest on Thursday, March 16.
Money raised from the event will help support the rebuilding of four of the school’s classrooms.
