One of Surrey’s most esteemed am-dram groups will make their welcome return to the stage next week with an intriguing tale of suspense, mystery and murder.

The Players of Elstead Theatrical Society (PETS) will lift the curtain on their production of the Francis Durbridge classic The Small Hours next Thursday evening (October 31).

What do a koala, devious chef and emerald neckless have in common? And how does Sussex hotelier Carl Houston nearly lose his life in finding out?

All will be revealed next week with the curtain rising on a three-night run at Elstead village hall at 7.45pm with the Saturday performance beginning 15 minutes later.

Tickets are available from 0844 884 9203 or the PETS online box office at www.elsteadtheatrical.co.uk
