Theatregoers will get three productions for the price of one when the Churt Amateur Dramatic Society (CADS) return to the stage next week.

The stage is set for A Night of Three One-Act Plays with a three-night run starting at 7.30pm next Thursday, October 17, in the village hall.

Villagers can expect to see a few familiar faces during the shows directed by Ruth Ahmed and Ian Wilson Soppitt with The Government Inspector, A Respectable Funeral and The Perils of Pauline on the bill.

The opener focuses on an incognito inspector paying a secret visit while the middle is about gossip and the secret life of a dead mother.

The final play is described as “a comic melodrama” based on the adventure of a silent movie heroine as she battles against the evil Black Hand Gang.

Tickets are £15 to include wine and cheese, for more visit www.ticketsource.co.uk/CADS
