He’s gone to great heights to get some amazing pictures, from a steam train chugging across the ‘Harry Potter viaduct’ to an A-star showing from Churcher’s students.

But drone photographer Chris Gorman is already focusing on 2025 – with a possible focus on mainland Europe.

The acclaimed snapper from Petersfield – AKA Big Ladder Photography – continues to catch the eye with his 2025 calendar featuring some of his very best.

Petersfield Open Air Swimming Pool features twice with shots of the ‘jewel in the crown’ during a sweltering day and an evening chill-out event both making the cut.

There’s also pictures of the Arundel Castle Garden and horses casting long shadows over Witterings beach along with a stunning shot of the fairytale Neuschwanstein castle perched above the cloudy Bavarian valley.

The shot could be a taste of things to come as Chris is keen to do more snapping in Europe.

He said: “I’ve always wanted to do stuff outside the UK and the cover is of this castle in Germany, just don’t ask me to say it.

“I was only there a month ago and it was absolutely beautiful. I wanted to do something a little bit further afield from the UK and it’s been on my drone ‘to do’ list for quite a few years. It was amazing.”

While his native East Hampshire does feature, he’s keen to mix up the collection so there’s not a continual focus on local landmarks.

Some of the proceeds from this year’s offering will go to Dementia UK, his charity of choice, as his father died from the condition four years ago.

Copies are still available at Morgan’s Butchers and the Natural Food Deli but readers should be quick as only a handful remain at the time of writing.
