The Stars in Surrey Awards are returning on Wednesday 11 December 2024 at G live in Guildford. for its third annual awards. The awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of individuals and teams across Surrey and recognise the remarkable efforts and impactful projects undertaken by individuals and groups across the county. These awards want to highlight unsung heroes from tireless workers to exceptional residents all of the people who make a real positive difference the awards want to recognise and reward.
Nominations are now open for this year’s award and categories include:

- Championing Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Award
- Greener Futures Star Award
- Rising Star Award
- The Frontline Star of The Year Award
- The Star Volunteer Award
- The Customer Champions Award
- The Unsung Hero Award
- Lifetime Achievement Award
- Star Transformation Award
- People’s Choice Award
The Awards want to inspire residents and colleagues to collaborate and celebrate each other’s achievements in making an impact on their communities. The judges are looking for those who act in line with “The Surrey Way” focusing on how people interact with others, the community and how they represent the Council.
Hannah Mudd, Library Assistant and Stars in Surrey 2023 winner of Young Employee of the Year said,
“The trophy makes our library a little more sparkly. It was awesome to win alongside Hope Guildford! I went there from 2012-2014, and it’s nice to know they’re still doing great things.”
