THE Last Post, performed by a student senior leader on the trumpet, played out while students stood in silence to remember the fallen at Weydon School this week.
In addition, year seven students stood in a configuration of 100 all displaying poppies to commemorate the end of the First World War (pictured).
The main reception of the school has also been adorned with a display of poppies made by prospective Weydon students who visited the school on open evening in October.
Curriculum area leader Caroline Jeffery said: “The display represents not only the remembrance of 100 years since the First World War but a sense of giving and caring which Weydon students are so good at doing.”
