A dog walker suffered minor injuries after being punched in the face in Farnham Park.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident between 7.30am and 9am on Oast House Lane on Tuesday, December 17.
The victim was assaulted after asking the owner of a large black poodle to keep his unleashed dog under control.
He was left with minor facial injuries with the suspect being described as a white man, around six feet tall and of medium build, in his early to mid-60s.
The suspect was wearing a black beanie, dark waterproof trousers, a dark blue raincoat and walking boots.
