An elderly woman was airlifted to hospital after a collision at a supermarket petrol station in Farnham left her with life-threatening injuries.

Surrey Police sealed off access to Sainsbury’s Water Lane this afternoon (Friday, August 30) following a serious collision involving three vehicles and a pedestrian.

A woman in her 80s suffered life-threatening injuries in the accident and was airlifted to hospital with her next of kin being informed.

Motorists were encouraged to avoid the area with emergency services remaining at the scene until early evening.

Investigations are ongoing but witnesses have been urged to call 101 or send a private message by Facebook Messenger quoting 45240099480.
