Liss Runners have enjoyed some impressive results in the Hampshire Road Race League (HRRL).
The club took a strong team to the Victory five-mile race at the Lakeside Business Park in Portsmouth.
The event, which is now in its 78th year, is one of the top five-mile races in the race calendar and offers a flat, fast and almost traffic-free course.
It rained throughout the race, turning heavier as the race progressed.

Andy Turner ran an excellent race in the wet conditions to finish in first place in the V60 category.
Next up for Liss in the HRRL was the popular Stubbington 10km race, which attracted 1,812 runners.
Phil Avery finished 34th overall and first male in the V45 category in a time of 34.23.

The course was slightly different to previous years, with the last large hill being omitted.
Phil Avery finishing first in his age category, while Catherine Seager and Anna Wemyss finished second in their age categories.
Liss’ ladies team finished in second place on the day.
