The head boy at Farnham Heath End School has been selected to represent Great Britain under-16s in the Federation of International Horseball European Cup in Italy.

Year 10 student Finn Wildman, who lives in Upper Hale, has been selected for the British Horseball Association team to play at the European Cup in Sommacampagna, Italy, from Tuesday, August 15 to Saturday, August 19.

Finn has ridden since he was six years old. He has been training with his loan horse, Picasso, and coach Alexandra-Oldbury Davies, since October last year aiming for a place on the GB team.

The team Finn rides for – Young Gunz – won the under-16 UK championships.

Finn is now training with the Great Britain team for the European Cup. He is seeking sponsorship to help him reach Italy – he needs to raise £3,000 to attend with his team mates.

Business sponsorship packages are available – Finn will also be selling golden tickets for £10 for the chance to win a sponsorship package or personal vouchers.

Anyone who is interested in sponsoring Finn should email his mother, Heather, for more details.
