A STOPPAGE time goal from Jack Emmett condemned Aldershot Town to a tenth defeat of an already frustrating season on Saturday.
Emmett’s late effort leaves Danny Searle’s Shots just one place above the National League drop zone ahead of a tricky trip to Boreham Wood on Tuesday night.
Badshot Lea’s hopes of breaking into the top three of the Premier Division of the Combined Counties League were ruthlessly wrecked by in-form Balham, who won at Westfield Lane.
Having already hit the crossbar, Balham took the lead on the stroke of half-time before adding a second 60 seconds into the second half to crush Lea’s hopes.

Yet despite late pressure on the Deportivo goal, it was Town keeper Dease Kerrison who ensured a point as he made two critical saves in the second half.
